Ante Quercus was born out of a deep-rooted love for natural beauty. More than 25 years ago, I started Ante Quercus: a collection of unique flowers, plants, objects, fabrics, lighting and furniture — pure, refined, quirky and high quality.
In 2022, I consciously let go of the retail side of the business and followed my heart. Since then, I have focused entirely on designing and styling warm, minimalist interiors and architectural concepts.
Ante Quercus stands for warm minimalism: omitting unnecessary details and creating comfortable, visually calm spaces. Everything is created intuitively. Clean lines, simple shapes and neutral tones are combined with high-quality, natural materials. Every detail is carefully chosen, resulting in a harmonious and timeless whole.
I work on a wide range of projects — from private homes to inspiring workspaces. Each design is created in close consultation, based on a shared vision and a refined sense of space, material and light. I supervise the entire process: from spatial layout and choice of materials to styling and finishing — until the interior as a total concept is right, in terms of both experience and balance.
With my background in interior and concept design, I bring together intuition, experience and craftsmanship. This results in interiors that are not only visually balanced, but also feel tangible and liveable.

Founder and creative designer | Ante Quercus
The name Ante Quercus was created in August 1997, at the beginning of Eikenlaan.
Ante is Latin for “before” and Quercus means oak. Together,
they represent the strength and timeless beauty of the oak,
a symbol that remains at the heart of our designs to this day.
