Home & Garden Heusdenhout - Breda Netherlands

A house in Heusdenhout that was redesigned as a total concept. The façade and exterior are finished in soft grey tones, applied to wood, window frames and doors in harmony with the walls, creating a calm and cohesive look. The outdoor space has been optimally utilised: a garden paved with castle gravel, a courtyard with a swimming pool and a canopy with custom-made outdoor furniture provide comfort and elegance. This clearly demonstrates how warm minimalism also finds its strength in the outdoor space.

Inside, openness and light were chosen. The layout was revised to create spacious, flowing living areas with a strong connection to the garden. In the living room, the ceiling was opened up and finished in an open oak structure, bringing rhythm and transparency to create a new sense of space. Linen curtains and fine aluminium blinds filter the light and enhance the softness. Each element has been chosen based on a vision of intuitive interior design, in which functionality and elegance go hand in hand.

The combination of a Saarinen table and chairs with Danish design shows how design classics form a foundation within an understated whole. Organic shapes soften the sleek base, while Italian lighting emphasises the height and adds serenity.

The strength of this project lies in the optimal use of indoor and outdoor space, where comfort and minimalist design come together. From the swimming pool and canopy to the open oak structure and iconic furniture, everything contributes to a timeless interior that exudes tranquillity, openness and refinement.
